A poet can do more than a hundred theologians in firing up the awareness of God.

Actually, I am quite surprised at myself. I had never been a artsy person. Stories and books are fine, but please keep poetries and plays away. However, NJC Litwing had given me a pleasant surprise. In their Lit Night, they put up an excellent performance with their poetry, acting them out sometimes. In fact, some of them, I found quite meaningful and all of them were witty in some way or another.

In fact, there were various poetries which had the implicit idea of God. Those are the things that will make people wonder if there is more than this, that will make people pause and think.

Yes, we should all pause a moment to appreciate these things. In stories, in shows, in poetry, in art; it is the Christian themes in these things which will open doors in the hearts of people, will make people familiar with Christian stuff. Sometimes, I suspect that the book "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe" will do more than books like "New evidences that demands a verdict" (which is incidentally a encyclopedic tome of a book which shows much much much much much evidences for Christianity (said with all due respect to the book of course).

Apple Pie

To bake an apple pie from scratch
We'll need fresh apples and flour.
No wait, we need apple trees,
And golden wheat,
Springing from the seeds in a muddy field.
Oh, don't forget sugar from the juice of canes
And the egg of a chicken
Raised from grains,
Plus milk fresh from a cow
That chews on grass
Growing from the mud
On the surface of Earth
A blue green orb,
That hangs in a star-studded universe-
Which must first be created.
